It was 3 o’clock in the morning and my friend and I have been talking for hours trying to catch up about what has happened for the last few months.
“Oh, I’m gonna tell you a story about this dance event I attended…”, says John (not his real name of course. Sheesh.).
“You went to that? How was it?”, this is me.
“It was a bit of a drag, but it was okay.” Him.
“Did you have fun?” Me.
“Not really. But a girl asked me to ask her to dance.” Him.
“She did? This is not King and Queen of Hearts right?” Me making fun of him.
“Nah. I can’t remember what the song was but it sure was uncomfortable!” Him.
“Huh? What do you mean by that?” Me, asking.
“Everyone was staring at us. Making fun of me. They just know the girl sooo isn’t my type.” Him, a bit defensive.
